Mission Statement
Our highest priority is to bring glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in all we do. With this in mind we seek to:
1) Bring teams from the United States to work with local builders and help provide adequate housing for widows who have no support structure.
2) Purchase land for use by widows and single mothers with children for the purpose of planting crops, which can provide at least their most basic needs. We would seek to partner with Christian ministries involved in using micro-enterprising to help lift the poorest of women in Guatemala out of extreme poverty.
3) Work through the local church whenever possible. Doing what we can to strengthen these local churches and their pastors. This would primarily occur through educational workshops for the local pastors.
4) Assist local communities, when possible, to help with other developmental projects. We believe that we, as Christians, should be involved, whenever resources permit, in community development. This would occur through forming partnerships with interested parties in North America.
5) We seek to improve the health of women in Guatemala through the work of the Association of Christian Hospitals and Clinics of Guatemala, and through the Christian Medical and Dental Association of Guatemala.
6) We will promote Christian unity at all times, but primarily amongst the Christian healthcare ministries that work in Guatemala and amongst other Christian ministries that have a heart to improve the lives of the poorest women in Guatemala.
7) We hope to develop a sponsorship program for single mothers with children. By meeting the most basic needs of this type of family unit, donations can have a significant impact on the lives of all those in the family.
