Exciting Updates on our COFFEE BEAN JEWELRY and Aprons for sale

Rosita beading

As has been reported back in March, With the help of Rosita and her creative juices, we have been able to set up and open a mini jewelry store within El Refugio’s doors.

Our hope was to have some work teams that come to work with other missionaries stop in for a tour and an opportunity to purchase the unique coffee jewelry made by our ladies. It has been a wonderful blessing so far, giving the ladies the chance to run the store and to see what the shoppers like.

In our April update we reported thatwe were blessed two couples who came to Guatemala on a Vision Trip: Jeff and Michelle, and John and Angie, from Wellspring Church in Hartford, Wisconsin.

Mike and I are very excited by their purchases of shelter-made coffee jewelry, which they are planned to show to coffee shops and friends back home.

We have been looking for a way to sell the jewelry online. We have a lady in the Carolinas that is interested in selling them on etsy.com. We are not sure when she will have that up and running but as soon as she does we will let you know and provide links to it from this website.

Aprons for sale

Now, just this past week, on July 22 our home church, Community Church of West Bend, held our first coffee jewelry sale. Other people in Wiscosin have also idicated to us their interest in hosting parties to help sell the coffee Jewelry and other things the girls make.

Thank you for all of your continued prayers and support. We will keep you informed as this ministry developes.
