CHA Workshop (10/19/05)




 
Last week I hosted a workshop here in Guatemala entitled "Managing Hospitals in Difficult Times." It was given by Dr Rufi Macagba who came from southern California to share what he has learned over the past 30-plus years with regards to this topic. His ministry is called Health Development International and you can check it out on the web at Health Development International.

It was an excellent workshop. Several local hospital administrators and doctors attended. We hope to begin forming a Christian Hospital and Clinic Association to continue promoting the excellent lessons we learned from Dr. Macagba. I feel very blessed to have now met two of the world’s experts on health care delivery in developing nations, the other being Dr. Dan Fountain.

It is exciting to see how the Lord is bringing many things about my future into focus through the Godly advice of these two brothers in the Faith.
