Mike returned to Guatemala five days before the rest of us in order to attend a
special service in Nebaj. The event was the dedication of a New Testament Bible translation in Ixil! With that event, Sharon Rosenwald had decided it would be nice to rededicate Light and Life School, too, since the building of this school was actually begun by these same missionaries who were the grassroots of the Ixil translation. The event was very well-attended by past missionaries as well as local believers.
